The Konnect LAByrinth provides DevOps Teams & architects an opportunity to get hands-on skills & experience they need to connect microservices and APIs within and across clouds, Kubernetes, and data centers.

This course dives into the basics of deploying Kong Gateway on Konnect. It covers Kong Konnect's Architecture and explains how traffic flows between consumers and upstream APIs via the Gateway. It also explains how the Konnect control plane communicates with the self-hosted/self-managed data planes.

You will learn to navigate and work with the Kong Konnect UI, package APIs as products, and publish them on the Developer Portal. The course also delves into the important aspects of securing the Konnect control plane, focusing on authentication and authorization.

During this session, you will learn:

  • Kong Konnect Fundamentals: Gain a solid understanding of Kong Konnect and its features.
  • Konnect UI Navigation: Acquire skills to navigate and utilize the Kong Konnect UI.
  • API Packaging and Publishing: Understand the process for packaging and publishing APIs on the Developer Portal.
  • Control Plane Security: Learn about authentication and authorization in the Konnect Control Plane.
  • Multi-Tenancy Support: Understand how Kong Konnect supports multiple organizations.
